Sugar Cookies 2

Cookies:

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup shortening
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
6 tsp baking powder
6 1/2 cups flour

Bake 350 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

Frosting:

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 TBS butter
1 TBS milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon juice

Melt butter. Combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth. Makes 1/3 cup.
